"David's" paper...
I have been talking about two papers that David and I have been working on for quite a while now, and I am happy to tell you that both of them have now made it to print (more or less anyway). David is the lead author on a paper about our midge addition experiment, and I am the lead author on a paper about our transect study. David actually beat me to press about a month ago (jerk!). Publications are the gold standard of scientific output, and these are the first Iceland papers to find their way into the literature. I think that the next year or so should see many more.

"My" paper...
As you might be able to tell from this brief post, I am somewhat harried at the moment. I also do not anticipate posting next week due to the Thanksgiving Holiday. But I am sure I will be back with more news from Team Midge come 2 December and I hope that you will check back then. In the meantime maybe you would like to read our papers...
Bless!
Jamin
P.S. Many, many thanks to everybody who was involved in these papers, one way or another. Special big shout-outs go to the field assistants (Erica, Jaclyn, Heather, and Kyle) that helped us count all those samples!
